It has certainly been an active week in the political world, with no shortage of headlines and strong opinions. In moments like this, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed by things beyond our control.

But what makes CFRW so powerful is our focus on what is within our control — educating voters, strengthening our clubs, supporting candidates, and showing up in our communities with purpose.

That steady work matters more than any headline. It’s also why I’m especially looking forward to gathering together in Redding in just a couple of weeks. When Republican women come together to learn, encourage one another, and renew our mission, it reminds us that we are not alone in this work — and that there is always reason to be hopeful about the road ahead.

Looking Ahead to Redding

Registration for our Redding Conference on March 20–21 is closing tonight. I am truly looking forward to seeing everyone who will be joining us there. It’s shaping up to be a wonderful time of connection, learning, and encouragement as we gather together as the California Federation of Republican Women (CFRW).

There is something special that happens when our members come together in the same room. Ideas are shared, friendships are started and strengthened, and we return to our clubs with renewed energy for the work ahead. I am excited for the conversations, the training, and the momentum that will come out of our time together in Redding.

To those who were not able to register this time, please know you will be missed. We understand that schedules and commitments do not always allow everyone to attend every event. I hope, however, that this serves as a reminder of how valuable these gatherings are for the strength of our federation and for each of us as leaders in our communities.

As you look ahead to the rest of the year and into the future, I encourage you to begin thinking about how CFRW conferences and events can become a priority on your calendar. These moments together are where we build relationships, sharpen our skills, and strengthen the foundation of our clubs.

For those joining us in Redding — I cannot wait to see you there.

And for everyone else, we look forward to seeing you at the next CFRW gathering.

Celebrating our Patriot Keepers Guild Clubs

There are moments when I get to share good news — and this is one of them.

The National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) set a goal for clubs to reach 100% of their 2025 membership renewals by March 1st in order to receive the NFRW Patriot Keepers Guild recognition.

That’s not just a number. That’s follow-through. That’s teamwork. That’s commitment.

And I am so excited to congratulate the following clubs who were officially recognized by NFRW for reaching this goal:

Glenn County RWF
Lodi RWF
South Placer RWF
Tehama County RWF
West Valley RWF

Ladies — that is something to be proud of. Reaching 100% this early in the year doesn’t happen by accident. It takes phone calls, reminders, systems, and a president (and team) who keeps going until the job is done.

Now let me say something just as important.

To the clubs who were incredibly close — maybe just a few renewals shy or just a little past the deadline — please hear me clearly: you are not behind. You are building. And what you are building matters.

The effort you put in did not disappear because of a date on the calendar. The calls you made, the reminders you sent, the members you re-engaged — that is culture. That is leadership. That is growth.

If you missed it by a little, that simply means you were in the arena. And I would much rather see clubs striving for 100% and stretching than standing still.

Keep going. Finish strong. Push through. The goal is still worth reaching because every renewal strengthens your club — and when our clubs are strong, our federation is strong.

Now, I also need to speak honestly for a moment.

In last week’s SPARK, a few clubs were listed as having reached the goal when they had not. That was my mistake. It was not intentional, and it certainly was never meant to discourage or misrepresent anyone’s hard work. I sincerely ask for grace in this area.

We are already working on improving our internal tracking systems so that our communication is as accurate and efficient as possible moving forward. I take full responsibility for the oversight.

Thank you for your patience. And thank you for the work you’re doing — whether you crossed the finish line on March 1st or you’re still running toward it.

Momentum doesn’t stop at a deadline. It keeps going.
