PRESIDENT'S WEEKLY SPARK
SPARK: Action
Register Today for the CFRW BOD Meeting on June 27th!
As we head into a pivotal summer season, we’re calling on every CFRW member and club to take immediate action: register now for the upcoming CFRW Board of Directors meeting on Saturday, June 27th.
Everyone will be attending virtually—whether you’re joining from home on your own or gathering with others at a watch party. If your club is planning to watch together, please have one club representative register on behalf of the group. The same applies to multi-club watch parties. Individuals attending a watch party should register themselves or confirm their club has secured the proper group registration. This is an honor-system request, and we trust our members will do the right thing so we can focus on maximizing participation rather than tracking headcounts.
For full details, please see the article below by 1st VP Mary Ervin. Every registered voice strengthens our federation—register today and help make this one of our most engaged BOD meetings yet!
SPARK in Practice:
Even though it’s summer, now is not the time to pause! Keep recruiting new members and reaching out to those who haven’t renewed—there is still so much important work to do between now and November to elect Republicans at every level across California. Engage with Republican women on a regular basis and commit to growing our membership each month.
PRO TIP: Don’t skip the underlined text! Each link opens the door to valuable resources, connections across our Federation, and simple next steps to help you take action.
SAVE THE DATE - July 9th
While we are all focusing on the important June 27th BOD meeting, I want to remind you to save the date for Thursday, July 9th from 6pm- 7pm for our next Distinguished Speaker event featuring California State Senator Tony Strickland. This special Zoom presentation will take place just two weeks after the BOD meeting.
As a benefit of membership, there is no cost to attend these events. They provide our members with direct access to the leaders making critical decisions on our behalf. You will have the opportunity to listen, learn, and ask your questions during this engaging session.
Stay tuned for complete details and registration information in upcoming SPARK emails. We hope to see you there!
Dear Club Presidents and Members,
Thank you to all the clubs that participated in our May Membership Surge! Your commitment to growing membership and strengthening our organization is making a difference across CFRW.
We are pleased to announce the winners in each category:
Category 1 – Tehachapi
Category 2 – Sonoma Valley
Category 3 – Santa Rosa
Category 4 – Bakersfield
Congratulations to these outstanding clubs for their membership growth efforts and success during the surge! As a reward for their achievement, each of these winning clubs has earned a FREE Club registration for the June 27 Board of Directors Zoom Meeting.
While we celebrate our winners, we also want to recognize every club that participated. Membership growth is the lifeblood of our organization, and every new member strengthens our voice, expands our reach, and helps secure our future.
Thank you for your dedication, enthusiasm, and continued efforts to recruit, retain, and engage members. Together, we are building stronger clubs and a stronger CFRW.
Congratulations again to our winners, and thank you to everyone who helped make the May Membership Surge a success!
The official Call to the CFRW Virtual Summer Board of Directors Meeting has been sent out. Please read the full Call carefully for registration information, meeting details, and important deadlines.
This year’s Summer BOD Meeting will be held entirely virtually. We strongly encourage clubs to host local watch parties so members can gather, build camaraderie, and participate together while avoiding travel costs.
We are excited to feature two outstanding speakers, and we are also working to have a representative from the CAGOP speak to help us get organized for the critical work ahead in the November midterm elections. Members will also conduct important federation business, including the election of our new 4th Vice President.
This will be a valuable and engaging event — we hope every member and club will join us on June 27th!
Featured BOD Speakers
