WEEKLY SPARK

Reflection – Stronger Together: A Month One Reflection

As I wrap up my first month serving as CFRW President, I’m filled with gratitude and excitement. This month has been energizing and genuinely fun—full of new conversations, fresh ideas, and a shared enthusiasm for where CFRW is headed. I’m especially mindful that many of us are in our first month of service together, while others are continuing in roles they have faithfully carried forward. Each of you brings experience, perspective, and heart to this work, and it truly shows. We are stronger when we work together, support one another, and move forward as a team. I’m thankful for the momentum we’re building and look forward to all that month two has in store.

As we close out the first month of the year, I encourage each of us to pause, reflect on what we’ve learned so far, and let that reflection shape how we show up and act in the months ahead.

Membership Connection Opportunity

As a reminder, the movie Melania opens January 30, and there’s still time to plan a group outing—whether with a small group of friends or as a club event. The film takes a more personal look at Melania Trump’s journey, focusing on her life before and during her time in the public eye, and highlighting themes of resilience, family, and grace under pressure. These shared themes make it a natural conversation starter and an easy way to reconnect with current members while inviting potential new members to join in. Consider turning this into a simple, meaningful fellowship opportunity for your club.

If you or your club plan to attend as a group, please let CFRW know by contacting 2nd VP Bunny Hacker so we can celebrate and share these activities across the federation.  Be sure to include a picture of your group at the theater!

Come for the movie, stay for the connections, leave others inspired to join! Mark January 30th on your calendars!

Summary of information from the NFRW Capital Connection Week of January 26, 2026

Did you know…

You, along with every other member of the Federation, are invited to attend all NFRW Board of Directors meetings. You do not need to serve on the Board or a committee to attend.

These meetings offer a wonderful opportunity to hear engaging speakers, take part in exciting events such as Legislative Day on Capitol Hill, and connect with members from across the country. Meetings are typically held twice a year in Alexandria, VA, conveniently located near NFRW Headquarters.

The first meeting of the year is coming up soon — see details below.

  • Strong early momentum: More than 20 clubs have already met or exceeded their Patriot Keepers Guild goals just three weeks into the America 250 Membership Challenge.

  • Honor Roll recognition: The first America 250 Honor Roll will debut in February, recognizing clubs that meet their goals by the end of January, with new clubs added monthly.

  • Incentives & next milestone: Honored clubs receive a digital America 250 coin and move closer to the Liberty Builders Brigade goal—a 10% membership increase over 2025.

  • Club Presidents: Submit membership dues to your state federation and visit the Membership Committee webpage for program details and growth ideas to ensure your club is recognized.

  • Club Members: Renew your membership before the March 1 deadline and ask your club president how you can help your club achieve Signers CircleLiberty Builders Brigade, or Patriot Keepers Guild status. Our future grows by one personal invitation at a time – new members will join your club if you extend the invitation! How about: “Please join my Republican Women, Federated group. I think you would really enjoy it!”

Campaign Awards Update (2026–2027 Term)

NFRW is introducing a significant upgrade to the Political and Campaign Awards program for the 2026–2027 term.

  • The Campaign Awards report form is being rebuilt and will launch in February as part of the NFRW website and database system at NFRW.org.

  • February 9 (tentative): NFRW Zoom training for Club Presidents on the new Political and Campaign Awards report form (registration details coming soon*).

  • February 9–20, 2026: First reporting period for the 2026–2027 term with the hours and calls accrued between July 1–December 31, 2025.  (NOTE: This is the reporting period for STATES to report hours and calls.  CFRW has been collecting these from clubs, but if your club still has hours to report, please contact 1st VP Mary Ervin since our deadline has passed.)

*Please continue to monitor the NFRW Capital Connection for additional updates and announcements.
