WEEKLY SPARK

A Positive SPARK of Faith and Purpose

Being a Republican woman in California isn’t always easy. As a superminority, it’s natural for frustration and discouragement to creep in—especially in a political climate where negativity often feels louder than hope. But positivity is not denial; it’s a decision rooted in faith. We trust that God is sovereign, that He has a plan and a purpose—not only for each of us, but for California as well. CFRW is powerful because it is a place where Republican women can gather in encouragement, friendship, and shared conviction, anchored in the belief that our work matters. When we protect this Federation as a positive space—one grounded in grace, optimism, and action—we strengthen one another for the calling and the hard work ahead.

Hope grows when it is shared, and together, guided by faith, we move forward with confidence and purpose.

Membership Momentum

For the next 4 weeks, you will see practical tips and actions we are asking you to take to help us reach our membership goals.  Even if you have tried these ideas before, we ask you to do them once again and track your results.

Membership Goal: 100% of 2025 membership renewals by March 1

Small actions, taken consistently, are how clubs build momentum—and membership.

Week 1 – Personal Outreach: Where Momentum Begins

Personal connections are still the most effective way to encourage renewal. A quick phone call, text, or email from someone they know reminds members that they are valued—not just counted.

This week’s focus:

  • Reach out personally to members who haven’t renewed yet—calls and texts are especially effective.

  • Share the message across your leadership team. Divide your non-renewed list among board members so outreach feels manageable.

  • Lead with appreciation. A simple “We’ve missed you and hope you’ll continue with us this year” goes a long way.

  • Make it easy to act. Include the renewal link or clear next steps in every message.

  • Follow up once. A gentle reminder after a week can make all the difference.

    Why this matters:
Members are far more likely to renew when they feel personally connected and genuinely wanted. One thoughtful outreach can turn hesitation into action.

Supporting CFRW Through the Ambassador Program

One of the most meaningful ways members and clubs can support the California Federation of Republican Women is through the CFRW Ambassador Program. This program strengthens CFRW by supporting essential operations and statewide resources—helping reduce the need for additional fundraising so we can stay focused on our mission and our members.

With multiple giving levels, the Ambassador Program makes it easy for individuals and clubs to participate in a way that fits their capacity, going above and beyond membership to show support for a strong, unified Federation.

“I became an Ambassador not for recognition, but to be part of the team that goes beyond membership to support our organization. Knowing the work it takes to serve over 5,000 members—and that CFRW has stood strong for nearly 100 years—makes it a blessing to contribute. I love seeing individuals and clubs step up to answer the call of support.” – CFRW Ambassador

I invite every member and every club to consider joining the CFRW Ambassador Program at any level. Every contribution makes a difference—and together, we help ensure CFRW remains strong for generations to come. It’s as easy as clicking one of the buttons below!

Strong ideas don’t sustain themselves—they must be

taughtdefended, and passed on.  This is what YAF does.

This is one way we ensure the next generation is

equipped to defend the principles we hold dear.
