WEEKLY SPARK
Spotlight: A New Arrival
We are thrilled to share joyful news from our CFRW family!
Our Legislative Analyst, Michaela Swaney, and her husband have welcomed a beautiful baby boy — Wesson Gregory Swaney.
Wesson was born on February 21 at 5:24 a.m., weighing 8 pounds, 8 ounces. Mom and baby are both doing well, and we couldn’t be happier for them.
Michaela plans to join us via Zoom at our Conference in Redding — and if we’re lucky, we may even get a cameo from little Wesson, our newest (and tiniest) future Republican.
Please join me in congratulating Michaela and her family on this wonderful blessing!

CFRW Ambassadors: Standing Together
One of the most meaningful ways members and clubs strengthen CFRW is through our Ambassador program.
Becoming an Ambassador isn’t just about financial support — it’s about partnership. It’s a tangible way to say, “I believe in the direction we’re headed. I’m invested in the future of our federation.”
To those who have already stepped forward as Ambassadors, thank you. Your support means more than you know. It communicates trust, encouragement, and confidence in the work being done on your behalf. That kind of partnership is deeply valued by your elected officers.
For those who may be considering it, participation at any level — individually or as a club — is simply another way to stand together in strengthening CFRW. Every expression of support matters, and every Ambassador helps build stability for the work ahead.
If you’d like to learn more, we would be honored to share additional information.
Together, we continue building a federation rooted in unity, leadership, and shared commitment.
🌟 101… and Beyond
Right now, we’re sitting at 99 registrations for our Spring Board of Directors Meeting & Conference.
In our 101st year, it would be pretty special to cross the 101 mark — and we’re just two registrations away.
But I don’t believe we’re done there.
Let’s aim for 110 leaders in the room — 110 women choosing to invest in their clubs, strengthen statewide connections, and grow together – and if we keep climbing, I won’t complain if we reach 115!
That kind of presence changes the energy of a weekend.
It deepens conversations.
It builds lasting momentum.
If you’ve been thinking about joining us in Redding, Kirsten, consider this your invitation. There’s a place for you in that room — and I would love to see you there.
Let’s cross 101… and keep going.
A quick reminder on registration pricing:
Regular: $300 (February 20–February 28)

Membership Momentum week 4
Membership Goal: 100% of 2025 membership renewals by March 1
This week’s focus: simple actions that help us finish strong by March 1.
Celebrate Progress: Recognition Fuels Results
Momentum grows when progress is visible and appreciated. This week is about recognizing effort, celebrating wins—big and small—and reminding members that their participation truly makes a difference.
This week’s focus:
Share your progress publicly. Let members know how close you are to reaching 100%—progress motivates action.
Recognize effort, not just outcomes. Thank those who made calls, sent invitations, or helped follow up.
Highlight club wins—even small gains show momentum is building.
Celebrate milestones (75%, 90%, 100%) to keep energy high.
Plan a simple celebration once your club reaches 100%.
Why this matters:
People are more likely to stay engaged when they feel appreciated and see that their efforts are making an impact. Celebration reinforces belonging—and belonging drives renewal.
Momentum in Action
We are already seeing this principle in action. The following clubs have reached 100% of their 2025 membership numbers:
- Glenn County RWF
- South Placer RWF
- Tehama RWF
- West Valley RWF
- Lodi RWF
These clubs stayed consistent, encouraged participation, and kept
momentum visible — and it paid off. CONGRATULATIONS!
There are many clubs that are close to reaching this goal by March 1st too! If that is you, keep recruiting and submit your per capita report in the next day or 2.
There is still time!
We have a WINNER!
