Welcome to this week’s SPARK

Spotlight, Positivity, Action, Reflection, and Knowledge

WEEKLY SPARK

Knowledge

Strong leaders don’t just work hard — they stay informed. We’ve recently updated the CFRW website to better serve you with streamlined resources, improved navigation, and helpful tools for club leaders. Whether you’re looking for information, forms, deadlines, or training resources, everything is designed to make your role easier and more effective.  We are still working on improvements, but the changes we have made are very exciting!

This week, I challenge you to spend five minutes exploring the site(www.cafrw.org). When you find something new, send me a quick email telling me what you discovered and what you like about it.

As a little thank-you for engaging, I’ll randomly select one member who responds before next week’s email to receive a small prize!

Knowledge becomes powerful when we use it — and when we share it.

Accelerating Our Momentum

Membership Goal: 100% of 2025 membership renewals by March 1

Membership momentum is built one personal connection at a time.

Week 3:  Make Renewal Obvious: Remove Barriers, Increase Action

Even members who fully intend to renew can stall if the process feels unclear or inconvenient. This week is about removing friction and making renewal easy to find, easy to understand, and easy to complete.

This week’s focus:

  • Share renewal information everywhere. Include links in emails, meeting reminders, social posts, and newsletters.

  • Repeat it often. A brief mention at meetings or events keeps renewal top of mind.

  • Include renewal details in meeting agendas so members see it in writing.

  • Clarify deadlines and next steps so members know exactly what to do.

  • Designate a point person for questions to remove uncertainty.

Why this matters:
When renewal is visible and simple, members are far more likely to follow through. Clear communication turns good intentions into action.

We are gathering insight from clubs across the state to help

inform future planning.
