NFRW LITERACY AND EDUCATION AWARD

NFRW is introducing their brand new Literacy and Education Award.  For the first time, state award recipients will be recognized at the 43^rd Biennial Convention in Orlando, FL in September.  The program was created to increase educational standards, eliminate Social Emotional Learning and CRT/DEI in our schools and curriculums, and strengthen parental rights, which have become important topics in our country.  Clubs are encouraged to participate in helping to shape our children’s futures.  The award was designed to encourage each club and state federation to maintain a Literacy and Education Committee and to work towards success by getting involved and following the criteria listed on the award form. 
 
Once you have completed the club form, please email it to Sandy Metzger, CFRW MELP Chair, at srrwfsandy@sonic.net. The club form is not due until June 1, 2025, providing time for your club to engage in as many of the activities as deemed appropriate. We value and appreciate your club’s efforts, regardless of whether it completes three, five, or ten activities. Every contribution is significant.
