CFRW Standing Committee Descriptions

Americanism Chair:

The Americanism Chair promotes patriotism and civic pride by incorporating meaningful patriotic elements into CFRW meetings and events. She leads or coordinates the Pledge of Allegiance, patriotic messages, and special observances that reinforce American values. The Chair may also develop programs or activities that educate members on civic engagement and national heritage. She works to inspire appreciation for the principles of freedom and democracy within the organization. Through these efforts, the Americanism Chair helps strengthen unity and shared purpose among members.

The Budget Chair develops and helps guide approval of the annual CFRW budget to ensure it aligns with organizational goals and priorities. She works with leadership and committee chairs to gather input on anticipated expenses and revenues. The Chair reviews the previous year’s spending to help inform and strengthen the budgeting process. She presents budget recommendations to the board to support informed decision-making. The Budget Chair also helps maintain transparency and accountability in all financial matters.

Bylaws Chair:

The Bylaws Chair oversees the review and maintenance of CFRW bylaws to ensure they remain current, clear, and in compliance with governing rules and higher federation requirements. She works with leadership to draft proposed amendments and guides the proper process for adopting changes. The Chair also supports clubs by helping ensure their bylaws are in compliance with state and national requirements and assists new clubs in establishing their bylaws. She serves as a resource to interpret bylaws and answer questions from members and leadership. The Bylaws Chair helps ensure consistent, compliant operations across the organization.

Caring for America / Armed Forces Chair:

The Caring for America/Armed Forces Chair develops and leads a statewide program that encourages all clubs to participate in meaningful community service and support for active-duty military, veterans, and their families. She provides ideas, resources, and guidance to help clubs successfully implement projects and maximize participation. The Chair also coordinates and tracks statewide efforts to showcase the collective impact of CFRW. She prepares and submits the state’s application for the NFRW Caring for America Award. Through these efforts, she helps strengthen CFRW’s visibility, compassion, and community engagement across the state.

CFRW Registration and Credentials Chair:

The Registration and Credentials Chair manages all registration processes for CFRW in-person events, including tracking attendees, meal selections, and special requests. She oversees the creation and distribution of name badges and ensures all event materials are accurate and organized. The Chair works closely with the CFRW Data Center to verify that all registrants are current, paid members in good standing. She helps ensure a smooth check-in process and accurate credentialing for voting or participation when required. Through careful coordination and attention to detail, she supports a seamless and professional event experience for all attendees.

Chaplain (Non-Voting):

The Chaplain provides inspiration and helps set a respectful, uplifting tone for CFRW meetings and events. She leads or coordinates invocations, benedictions, and moments of reflection in a manner that is thoughtful and inclusive. The Chaplain may also share inspirational messages or readings that align with the organization’s values. She supports members during times of celebration or loss, offering encouragement and recognition when appropriate. Through this role, she helps foster unity, respect, and a sense of purpose within CFRW.

Charter Registry Chair:

The Charter Registry Chair maintains accurate records of all CFRW clubs, including charter status, formation dates, and organizational details. She works with clubs and leadership to track new club formations, reactivations, and any changes in status. The Chair helps ensure all required documentation is completed and properly recorded in coordination with the CFRW Data Center and national federation. She serves as a resource for clubs throughout the chartering process and helps guide new clubs from formation to official recognition. Through this role, she supports the growth, organization, and historical record of CFRW clubs statewide.

Leadership Development / Mentoring:

The Leadership Development and Mentoring Chair fosters growth by creating opportunities for members to build skills and step into leadership roles within CFRW. She develops and supports training programs, workshops, and resources for club leaders and emerging leaders. The Chair helps identify and mentor potential leaders, encouraging a strong and sustainable leadership pipeline across the state. She works with clubs to promote leadership development at all levels and shares best practices. Through these efforts, she strengthens the confidence, capability, and continuity of CFRW leadership.

MELP (Mamie Eisenhower Library Project) Chair:

The MELP Chair leads and promotes the Mamie Eisenhower Library Project (MELP) across CFRW by encouraging clubs to participate in literacy-focused initiatives. She provides guidance, resources, and ideas to help clubs organize book drives and support schools, libraries, and community organizations. The Chair works to increase statewide participation and track the impact of MELP efforts. She promotes Literacy Month activities and highlights club achievements through reports and communications. Through this role, she helps strengthen CFRW’s commitment to education, community service, and outreach.

Newsletter Chair:

The Newsletter Chair oversees the creation and distribution of CFRW’s quarterly newsletters to keep members informed, engaged, and connected. She gathers content from leadership and clubs, including updates, highlights, events, and important announcements. The Chair ensures the newsletter is well-organized, visually appealing, and consistent with CFRW branding and messaging. She manages deadlines, editing, and final production for timely distribution. Through this role, she helps communicate the impact and activities of CFRW across the state.

NFRW Club Achievement Awards Chair:

The NFRW Achievement Awards Chair oversees statewide participation in the NFRW Club Achievement Awards program by guiding clubs through requirements, timelines, and reporting. She provides resources and support to help clubs maximize eligible activities and strive for higher award levels. The Chair tracks progress across the state and ensures all submissions are accurate and submitted on time. She also promotes recognition of club accomplishments and encourages broader participation. Through this role, she helps highlight the success and impact of CFRW clubs at the national level.

Protocol Chair:

The Protocol Chair ensures proper etiquette and professional standards are followed at CFRW meetings, events, and conferences. She advises leadership on seating arrangements, introductions, and order of precedence for honored guests and officials. The Chair helps coordinate head table setup, place cards, and event flow to reflect respect and organization. She serves as a resource on correct forms of address and ceremonial practices. Through this role, she helps create a polished, respectful, and well-organized experience at all CFRW functions.

Publicity / Marketing Chair:

The Publicity and Marketing Chair oversees statewide communications to promote CFRW programs, events, and initiatives and strengthen the organization’s visibility. She works with leadership and clubs to ensure consistent branding and messaging across newsletters, social media, and other platforms. The Chair develops strategies to highlight achievements, support membership growth, and expand outreach. She also collaborates with other chairs to amplify key initiatives and campaigns. Through this role, she helps build a strong, recognizable presence for CFRW across the state.

Resolutions Chair:

The Resolutions Chair oversees the development, review, and submission of resolutions for CFRW, ensuring they are clear, properly formatted, and aligned with organizational priorities. She works with the CFRW President to draft resolutions to present to the membership. The Chair coordinates review and presentation of resolutions at board meetings or conventions. She also ensures approved resolutions are properly recorded and, when appropriate, submitted to NFRW. Through this role, she helps give voice to the positions and priorities of CFRW.

Roster Chair:

The Roster Chair maintains and manages an accurate, up-to-date directory of CFRW members, officers, and club contacts. She works with clubs to collect, verify, and update information on a regular basis. The Chair ensures the roster is properly formatted and distributed securely for official use. She also supports leadership by providing reliable data for communication and organizational planning. Through this role, she helps strengthen connectivity and efficiency across CFRW.

Scholarship Chair:

The Scholarship Chair maintains and strengthens CFRW’s partnership with organizations dedicated to developing conservative youth. She coordinates communication, supports scholarship or program opportunities, and ensures alignment with CFRW’s mission and goals. The Chair helps promote these opportunities to clubs and encourages participation and support statewide. She also works with leadership to highlight the impact of these partnerships and recognize participants. Through this role, she helps invest in and develop the next generation of leaders.

Sergeant-At-Arms (Non-Voting):

The Sergeant-at-Arms helps maintain order and decorum at CFRW meetings, conferences, and official events. She assists the presiding officer in ensuring meetings run smoothly and in accordance with established procedures and protocol. The Sergeant-at-Arms supports logistical needs such as room setup, seating, and managing the flow of attendees. She may also assist with credentialing and ensuring only authorized members participate in voting when required. Through this role, she helps create an organized, respectful, and efficient meeting environment.

Social Media Chair:

The Social Media Chair manages CFRW’s social media platforms to promote events, programs, and key initiatives while engaging members and the public. She creates and shares content that highlights club activities, achievements, and statewide efforts in a timely and consistent manner. The Chair works with leadership and other committees to ensure messaging aligns with CFRW branding and communication goals. She monitors engagement and helps expand the organization’s online presence. Through this role, she strengthens visibility, connection, and outreach across the state.

The Website Manager maintains and updates the CFRW website to ensure accurate, current, and user-friendly information for members and the public. She posts announcements, event details, resources, and important updates in coordination with leadership and committee chairs. The Website Manager ensures the site reflects consistent branding and supports overall communication and outreach efforts. She may also assist with troubleshooting and improving site functionality. Through this role, she helps provide a reliable and accessible hub for CFRW information statewide.

Youth Outreach Chair:

The Youth Outreach Chair develops and promotes initiatives that engage young women in CFRW programs and leadership opportunities. She builds relationships with schools, colleges, and youth-focused organizations aligned with CFRW values. The Chair supports efforts to introduce younger audiences to civic involvement and encourages participation in federation activities. She works with clubs to expand outreach and create meaningful pathways for future membership. Through this role, she helps grow and develop the next generation of leaders for CFRW.
